Walk With Us, and experience a day of unity, celebration, and support for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
Join us on September 22nd at the Canadian Mennonite University Campus as we walk together to raise awareness and funds for the Manitoba Down Syndrome Society. This is more than just a walk—it’s a chance to be part of a community that embraces every triumph and faces every challenge together.
Every step you take helps us create a more inclusive and supportive world for those with Down syndrome. Let’s walk, celebrate, and make a difference together!
Registration begins at 12:00. During this time there will be food (pizza and drink for small purchase). There will be Buzz and Boomer, the Winnipeg Police community relations unit with a police car, outdoor games, silent auction, 50/50 and more!The walk starts at 2:00. The route will take us through the scenic Assiniboine Forest. You have the option of a 1km or 3km loop. The walk is stroller/wagon friendly. Post walk – Following the walk there will be more entertainment, prize draws and closing announcements.
